Or are we supposed to reveal ourselves? This is the first year I’ve done this and was wondering what others thought. Rainbow signed a letter in mine, although I would have known it was from him as knew his name because I went to the junkyard with him in early 2017.

I usually reveal myself with a note in the gift. It’s secret until you get your gift, but you can do as you please

In previous years I’ve seen a bunch of people post the gifts they’ve gotten and that certainly gives opportunity for the giver to reveal themselves and i don’t see anything wrong with that.

I don’t either, I was just curious what others thoughts were.

That makes sense.

if the person posted and said the gift sucked maybe I’d stay in the weeds...otherwise I’ve always signed my screen name. When/if the recipient posts I’ll certainly chime in, and I also forgot to say why I got what I did...but I think it’d be self explanatory if my Oppo sleuthing was correct. Plus my handwriting is severely lacking.

BTW, while she’s said it’s not that important to her, she does identify as female and prefers female pronouns

I think you can reveal yourself as long as you don’t expose yourself. lol

I totally forgot to put a note in the gift even though I intended to. Though I think it will be obvious...

I taped up my box and then realized I forgot to put a note in it, so I opened it up and put a note in.
